Designated Smoking Areas

You cannot smoke within the terminals. Smoking is permitted only outside all terminal buildings. You will find designated areas across several locations outside the terminal zone. Check them out:

Drop Water

You will find the drop water kiosks at Terminal A, Gates 10 and 13; Terminal B, Gates 26. The high-tech kiosks prepare zero-calorie, zero-sugar drinks. The SJC airport is a part of the Sunflower Lanyard Program meant for individuals with hidden disabilities like anxiety disorders, hearing loss, dementia, low vision, mobility issues, epilepsy, and so on. Therapy Animals – SJC Happy Tails

SJC was the first to offer therapy dogs in their terminals. This was done shortly after 9/11 to assist passengers in calming their nerves and lessening anxiety. The SJC Happy Tails offers more than 50 certified cats and dogs. However, they aren’t available at the airport every day. Also, you cannot schedule them in advance, and they aren’t guaranteed to be at the airport whenever you visit. The handlers of the animals are volunteers who bring their pets to the airport during their free time, mostly in the evenings and on weekends. 

TSA Cares

TSA Cares is for passengers requiring special assistance to pass through security checks. However, TSA Cares will not help individuals to bypass security. SJC has a Military Longe to serve active-duty military members. The lounge is situated curbside between the A and B terminals. Lost and Found Services At the SJC Airport

If you have lost any of your belongings at the SJC Airport, you must show your proof of ownership to claim the same. If you cannot pick up your item during business hours, it will be shipped to your address via FedEx. However, shipping is at the owner’s expense, and they must coordinate with the airline’s lost and found office regarding the same.
